Information we collect
Through the contact form, we only collect what you voluntarily provide: your name, phone number, email, the project address and the description of your project. The form does not send anything to a server: it opens your own email app with a message ready to send to us. Your information only reaches us if you send that email.
Our host may keep technical logs (IP address, device type, pages viewed) to keep the site secure and working. We do not collect sensitive information.
Why we use it
Your information is used to answer your request, contact you, prepare a quote and follow up on your project.
We do not sell or rent your information.
Cookies
The site only uses the cookies needed for it to work and to remember your choice. No analytics or marketing cookie is active at the moment, and no third-party analytics tool, such as Google Analytics, is used.
If we ever add one, it will stay off until you give your consent:
- Analytics — anonymized audience measurement.
- Marketing — campaign measurement and targeted advertising.
The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when you display it, under its own privacy policy.
You can reject, accept or change your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it. Your choice is kept for 13 months at most.
Who has access to your information
Only the people in the company who need it to handle your request have access to it. We use service providers (site hosting, email and the Google Maps map) who may process information on our behalf.
Some of these providers may process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. In that case, the information remains protected by these providers' security measures and contractual commitments.
Your rights (Quebec Law 25 and GDPR)
You may at any time:
- ask for access to the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask for its deletion, or for it to stop being disseminated;
- withdraw your consent;
- ask for a copy of your information in a structured, technological format (portability);
- object to its use.
Write to us at info@jpcapaja.com. We reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you believe we have not answered your request properly, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Retention
Information received by email is kept for as long as needed to process your request and carry out your project, then destroyed or anonymized, subject to legal and tax retention requirements.
Security and incidents
We implement reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access or disclosure. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
